Some of the trains I can think of right off the bat:
C&S/FW&D "Texas Zephyr"--Fort Worth/Denver
MoPac/D&RGW "Colorado Eagle" Pueblo-Denver
CRI&P "Denver Rocket" Limon/Denver
D&RGW "Royal Gorge" Denver/Salt Lake City via Pueblo
I think that ATSF ran a Denver section of one of their "Chiefs" between Denver/La Junta
I'm sure that there were several others, but those are the only ones that come immediately to mind.
Hope this helps.

Howdy Jeff; over the years I recall several articles about one of the RI Rockets that ran from Chicago with E A&B units. The train was split at some point in CO; the previous post mentions Limon, CO. The front part continued with an E A unit to its destination and the other part continued to its destination with the specially modified E B unit.
I hope this helps, this in not my area, I’m a native far westerner. For my family going back east was a trip to Salt Lake City. Good luck, Rob
in you can locate an old Official Guide from the year you are interested in it will tell you what trains were operating and their times at a particular station. if memory serves me correctly Col Spgs was served by the DRGW, RI, C&S (Q) and the ATSF. with DRGW handling MP traffic (colorado eagle) between Pueblo and Denver. i believe the RI conncted with their main line at Limon and the ATSF with theirs at La Junta.
the OG's also list the equipment for most trains but not specific consists.
Can anyone tell me the nature of passenger operations in Colorado Springs in the late 40's early 50's on the joint line? Any links to info would be nice. I have not been able to find much on the web.
Thanks!
