Your info is great. I had a pretty good feeling the truck design was different but it's really difficult sometimes to see good detail on photographs and make a valid comparison..usually the lighting at "truck level" is poor. Thanks again,

They did have the same truck centers (34' , same as the GP40/38/39 too), but they had different trucks. They both had the single shock on each side, but the journals and frame are different. You still might be able to "get away" with using the GP50 trucks, especially if it is temporary.

Hi,
Does anyone know if the wheelbase and overall frame length of a GP50 and a GP60 are similar, say within an inch or so of each other? Also, did the two units use similar trucks? I know the GP50 was equipped with Blomberg 'M'-type trucks but I don't know about the GP60 because it is considerably newer. I've got a GP50 chassis and a GP60 body shell but I don't know if I can mate them and still have any accuracy in the model. Any thoughts?
