EJ&E's Pheonix Line
Posted by Snow on Thursday, May 7, 2009 3:34 PM

I am trying to model the J's Phoenix Line, which is a short branch line that is just west of the Joilet yard and runs along the river on the opposite bank of the BNSF yard.  Does anyone have any information about the industries that are served by the railroad?  All I have to go by is satellite photos.  I figured out one siding is some kind of scrap yard also serviced by river barge, but I am unsure about the rest other than they seem to handle a mixture of covered hoppers, gondalas and tank cars.

Any information about this would be greatly apreciated as I live no where near there and can't get a closer look in person.

Thanks!
