This switcher was used at J.Neils Lumber Co (later St Regis) in Libby MT. My grandfather was the engineer until he retired. My first cab ride was on this baby when I was about 6.
Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert and it a difficult to say without seeing other external views of the locomotive. Very likely it is a 70-tonner, but GE also had 77- and 65-ton models that were similar. Check out this site:

It is possible you can find a locomotive roster to get a definitive answer.

According to the "Comprehensive Guide to Industrial Locomotives" by Jay Reed (and I have only the first edition not the updated and corrected later editions) Champion International in Libby, formerly St Regis Forest Products, has two locomotives. No. 7 is a GE 45 tonner. No. 10 is a GE 70 ton, built 3/51. Ex St Regis Forest Products, formerly Condon, Kinzua & Southern #104.
I assume the photo is of No.10.
I hope this helps.

Thats it #10, Thank you Dave, thanks all.
That book sounds like a great resource, Dave. I just ordered me a copy of the 3rd edition of the book. Author Jay Reed tells me that it will be the last version.
