Thanks, Doggy. I'm doing O scale these days, and I just got the NASA MTH SW-1500.

Peter,
DId a keyword search at the Index of Magazines and found five articles about helium cars. Don't know if any of them match MHAX #1202. Didn't find anything on LOX cars. You might want to ask Brent Lambert at the NMRA's Kalmbach Memorial Library to do a search for you, especially for those elusive booster segment cars. As you may know, the lIbrary's holdings are extensive.

Looking for info on NASA Railroad rolling stock

I'm a long-time mostly armchair model RRer, just getting back into
railroading in O gauge. After seeing an article about the NASA
Railroad in the March issue of Railfan & Railroad, I'm looking for
further information. The NASA RR runs several purpose-built cars,
including segment cars for carrying Solid Rocket Booster segments,
liquid oxygen and gaseous helium cars and other equipment cars.

Model Railroading (not MR) had an article with drawings of the cars,
probably in the early 1980s. I've searched the magazines index and forums
without success. Does anyone know the issue date, or have the
article?

I've found the NASA SW1500 from MTH, as well as MTH's and K-Line's NASA
cars. I also have the Green Frog video, which concentrates on the segment cars.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Peter
