Richard;
How much space do you have? What theme are you interested in (logging, mining, etc.)? Do you want around the walls or table style?
MR has published many of Iain Rice's plans, which are excellent.
You will find an incredible number of images here:

Short line modelling

Hi, All, this is my first post.
I would like to enquire about short line modelling using steam locomotives. I have two of the Bachmann consolidations, and I want to use them. Are ther any good websites that give prototype photos from the 30's and 40's?
Also, can anyone recommend a good source (preferably web-based) of track plans, preferably for teminal depots? Information in the U.K. is hard to find.
Many thanks in anticipation,
Richard Ward
