here is a URl showing a PRR B unit end.  Different from what I remember but it must be accurate.

As I remember the ends were pretty spartan.  there was a conduit up to a small marker light on each side of the diaphragm and that was about it.  I'll try to remember to check tonight.

Hello "Art,"

See pages 98 and 99 in the "Model Railroader Cyclopedia, Vol. 2: Diesel Locomotives," from Kalmbach Books. It includes a photo of the rear end of a Monongehela RF-16, and drawings that include an end elevation.

Good luck with your model,

Andy

I'm plugging away right now on an E-R Models RF-16 Sharknose. I can't find any photos or drawings of the back end of the loco or of an uncoupled B-unit, except for a couple of angled shots of the D&H units. I'm looking for more of a dead-on photograph so I know what exactly to put there. Can anyone help out with that? Also, the guy at my LHS said someone once put out a diapraghm kit for either the E-R or Model Power Shark. Since I'm modeling the D&H locos, I can tell from the photos that they did not use the diaphragms, but the kit may have other useful bits like striker plates. Any info on this?
