Does anyone have an idea where I can find road numbers and color schemes for desiel area MEC ????

Well, that depends on what era you are looking to model. I have a book that details all of the diesels that the MEC used, rosters, pictures, etc. up to the Guilford era. Unfortunately, I don't believe that the book is still in print , but it is quite complete. The title is Maine Central Diesel Locomotives, Revised Edition, compiled by Edwin B. Robertson. Copyright 1978, Revised edition printed in 1988.

More info on the book ... I purchased it at Zeb's General Store, Main St. N. Conway Village, NH, their phone # is 603-356-9294, or at least it was.

One quick thing, the book is in black and white, but does explain the color schemes on the different units. But again, I'm not sure that you can still buy it.
