Hi, I´m Christian,

what is the difference of Fairebank-morse H10-44 to H12-44?

Thanks forward!

Basically, horsepower.  H10 had 1000 HP, while the H12 had 1200 HP.  Later versions of the H-12 (after 1952) eliminated the Lowery "steam cab" rear overhang, simplifying and lowering the cost of production.

Also, the H12 didn't have the 'streamlining' on the steps that ran along the hood to the cab.

I also believe that the H12-44's headlight was in a lower position than the H10's.
