Someone in another train group was looking for a transformer for 16 volts AC to operate accessories.
I suggested an old power pack, eBay or All Electronics. All Electronics has a 15 volt AC, 2.4 amps, 36VA, wall wart for $4.25, plus $7.00 shipping. Maybe with careful shopping he might do better if there is a train show in his area. Maybe eBay.
