Model Power N scale turnouts.....
Posted by Zandoz on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 10:48 PM

Ive recently run across a couple online ads for N scale Model Power dual radius curved turnouts and double slip switches for reasonable prices. Are they any good? More problems than they're worth?  I know they are likely to be far from the best, but are they THAT bad?

Also, they were listed as either R1&2 or R3&4 radii. What do they translate to in Inches?

I could really use a double slip for the transition between main and staging, but my budget will not remotely take a $70-$80 hit for a Peco double slip, so I'm hoping the Model Power's are good enough to get by.

Reality...an interesting concept with no successful applications, that should always be accompanied by a "Do not try this at home" warning.

Hundreds of years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I did something so bafflingly crazy that my ruins become a tourist attraction.

"Oooh...ahhhh...that's how this all starts...but then there's running...and screaming..."
