Do the people who use EasyDCC use 2 or 4 digit addressing?

I am an Easy DCC user who chose the system because of prior positive experience with Railcommand and the easy user interface. It is easy to program and easy to run. I believe it has sufficient capacity for my needs, both present and future. So far I have been very happy with the way Easy DCC performs.

I have had EasyDCC since 1988 and I would buy it again! My limited experience with Digitrax has been on the negative side. To me it is the "computer geek's DCC system". I've always felt like I was fighting with the sytem to operate the trains. EasyDCC is more "transparent

I failed to mention a very important item about EASY DCC. The service on their
products is second to none. They have always always answered any question
I have had correctly and quickly responded to any request for service.

I use the EASY DCC system and find it to be excellent. One of the reasons you don't
hear much about the system is they have very few problems. If you are primarily
interested in simplicity of operation and ease of programming it is the system for you.

EasyDCC uses coax cable for the cab bus so its not compatible with a digitrax or NCE system if you ever have to change over or want the option for another control system. The systems I have operated on use 2 digit addressing, which I don't care for. The systems I have used that had an option for 4 digit addressing used a 2 step process to enter the engine number.
Other than those aspects, I have used it on several layouts and its easy to use and works well.

I use CVP's Easy DCC on my current layout, I am very pleased with the system. I had used CVP's Railcommand an anologue system for about ten years and found that system to be very good and reliable. So when DCC came of age I looked at all the systems then on the market. I thought the EASY DCC system appeared to be the most user friendily. It offers a command center display rather than a throttle display, I find it much easy to program the locomotives from the command center. I also use 12 of CVP's radio throttles on the layout with no problems. The ultilmate complement to the Esay DCC system is during an operating session with 16 to 22 people running the railroad. They operators just run the trains and don't have to pay attention to running the control system.

I have looked at it but don't have it so no comments from experience.
Take a look at the new Digitrax Zeyphr. I have lot's of DCC but I bought one to take to clubs. I don't there is anything on the market as easy to use. It's all self contained, just plug it in like you would a DC power pack and you are running.
If you want to expand later it will work the the most complex systems. All LocoNet components will plug into it but all you need to run trains comes in one box. It's also less expensive than other systems I have looked at. I got one at a train show for $130 complete.
