Boeville & Newtown Layout Version #3
Posted by bnnrailroad on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 9:13 PM

Well, I think I finally hit on something with the help of DPB #7. I'm going to build a 2 tiered layout. I have the plans (just not on my website yet). The 2 tiers would be connected using a no-lix. I'm looking at going around the room 3 times to get from the lower level to the upper level.

I do have a couple of questions listed below (keep in mind, I model in HO scale and the room is 13ft by 11ft):

1) What should be concidered the minimum spacing between tiers (I'm looking at 11in)?

2) What would you use for your maximum grade (I'm looking at 1-1.5%)?
