i use starter set power supplies for accessories and two mrc's 350's to run the trains and turnout switches. you can get starter set power packs at a train show dirt cheap.
Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.

with 1 train, that power supply should be adiquate for your needs, if you add a few more or alot of structures, lights ect that are all powered, i'd go with a deduicated PS for those and run the track off one.

I am getting back into the model train hobby after 25 years with my son. I have purchased a Bachmann starter set that has a smal standardl power suppy. If I want to add structures that are lighted or powered do I need a bigger poser pack or can I simply add a 2nd one. Where can I find info. on how to wire these items together
Thanks in advance
