Tichy Train Group makes a great looking bumper. IMO, they are the most realistic bumpers on the market! Here's a close-up of one.

Those look like the ones - Thanks, Bob

I like the 12-pack of Walthers bumpers, too.  They're gray plastic, and I usually paint them with flat black acrylic and then add some Instant Rust to weather them.  Inside the roundhouse, I painted diagonal yellow stripes on the bumper pad for "safety."

Try this one.  It's a package of 12, gray plastic, four pieces to assemble, and looks and works quite well.

It's similar - in fact I've found several that were close, but I liked this particular kit. It was plastic so there was no need for insulated rail joiners and since it simply attached to existing track, there was no track discontinuity.

Track bumper kit

A few years ago I bought some track bumpers that were plastic kits, and I can't remember who made them. They were grey plastic, about a half dozen pieces per kit, and were glued to the existing rail - they didn't come with a section of track like Atlas, Tomar, etc.

Anybody know anything?
