Attempting to build the Portland Central
Posted by monon43 on Sunday, October 22, 2006 1:52 PM

Hope someone out there can help with a suggestion or two...

I decided I'm going to build my first layout using the Portland Central (August '94 MR & Basic Model Railroad Track Plans).  In BMRTP, it lists the Atlas Code 100 track I'll need to put this together.  My problem is, I'm trying to build this layout on Atlas' RTS 7.0 because I want to make some changes to it.  The layout design picture shown doesn't identify the exact track, i.e. which track is 22" radius or 18" radius, plus the ends of the layout where the curves are is cut off.  What I've tried to put together so far on RTS isn't matching up.  Can someone maybe familiar with either this layout or someone who has a better grasp of how to fit this all together give me a hand?

Thanks!
