Hey, Kevin...

I was researching diners for a scratchbuilding project and I found a couple sites you might want to look at:

http://www.dinercity.com

http://www.oh-diners.com

Galvanized metal roofing was popular...click on the link for photos:

Hope this is helpful.

Hi,

I am working on my diner kit and am starting to look at the roof for the diner and the freezer box.  What type of roof would be on a diner? Tar paper or crushed stones?

   Thanks,
