MRC II Sound Generator 8000

I just purchased a semi complete HO layout that the owner decided he did not want to finish; he had bought it from the person who had started to build it and sold it for reasons unknown to me. Lots of rolling stock, some buildings and lots of brass track and turnouts.

 

Also included are a MRC Tech II Loco-Motion 2500 transformer and a MRC Tech II Sound Generator 8000. In the box was a small circuit board marked ter8000, that has 5 wires, 1 white, 1 black, 1 red & 2 blue. Does anyone know if this goes with the Sound Generator? I’m not familiar with the Sound Generator. If anybody has instructions for the Sound Generator I sure would appreciate a copy.
