A nice little layout...but with an original purchase price (I assume paid by the current owner) of $12,500 it seem a bit out of line for what you're getting! I'm knowledgable regarding the price of commercial layouts but that figure for a 4x8? My God! It'll be interesting to see just how high the bids go or if it even reaches the reserve figure.

Incidentally, be sure to view the video of the layout through the link provided by the seller. It is admittedly interesting.

Hey Guys, I was looking around on Ebay and found a layout by Dave Methlie who has been featured in Model Rrailroader up for auction. They have some nice pics. If you want to take a look, go to Ebay and look under HO train layout. I found it at the bottom. He used the same type benchwork that he described in Model Railroader. It's worth a look.
