Agree with Glen. Raise the turntable, etc, etc, etc. I tried slicing the cork and had my locos running throught the backend of the engine house. Think possibly of thin foam-core poster board about the thickness of the cork.

Advise aginst slicing the cork. Either use no cork on approach or raise the turntable . Use flat sheet cork to raise everything else.

Anyone have expirience with installing cork roadbed up to a turntable? The turntable is flush with the surface, so the rails would be set way to high. Debating weather to slice the cork to an incline or to raise the turntable. If I raise the turntable, then I would heve to raise the inspection pits, the roundhouse, etc, etc, etc.
