Finally got some track and roadbed.

After many hours of trying to decide whether I should go with HO or N scale in a 13’x15’ room my wife made the decision for me. She gave me the larger finished area in the basement [:0](24’ X 19’) because she was tired of hearing me ramble on about making the decision.[:D]
So this past weekend I went to a train show and purchased 100 pieces of Atlas code 83 track for $255 and 75 pieces of cork road bed for $60. I could have done better on the prices if I had known I would have been going with HO back in January. The first show I went to in early January I found Atlas code 83 track for $14.95 for 10 pieces. I didn’t buy it then because I didn’t know which scale I’d be going with.
So, I hope I’m not crazy for buying the track and road bed before building the bench work. I figure if I can find anything at a good price I better jump on it now before the price goes up again. I thought the track was a pretty good deal compared to a lot of places I’ve seen it offered.
After I fini***he new 13’ X 15’ room I can begin the bench work. I can’t wait![:D]
