Of the almost 1 hour of video time, there may have been 10-15 minutes(I havn't timed it yet) of actual "how to" instruction. The rest was an ongoing presentation/advertisement of their SubTerrain Systems and the sceniking products they sell. I will agree they sell great products, but this video is far to much advertising. And for $25.. What a Rip. the printed version for $10 would have been a little more reasonable, but even at that... I wonder if Kalmbach produced it?

I really think the best you can do if you want to learn how to build scenery is to look at Joe Fugate's methods. I also looked at a WS DVD and I was a little dissapointed.

I would like to put my two cents worth in as well. All the magazines and articles that we all read are a great sorce of info. But you must understand that trial and error is what makes this hobby great. I have learned that take a little or a lot from what you READ and apply it to your lay out. This ia after a lot of dollars for a "quick" how to.

My daughter and I were shopping for scenery books and thought WS would have to make a good one...right??? Luckily I was able to look at the book and didn't buy it.

I bought the book, and it's a rip off. Essentailly, it's a detailed brochure of their products. Very little "how to" information. I felt cheated after buying it.
