Grade xing 'gantry with lites' anyone?

Hi,

My HO layout incorporates a 'live' grade crossing with slot cars occasionally running thru. The prototype is around Virginia City and Gold Hill, NV.

I have Tomar's H863 grade xing gates driven by a Tortoise - Nice, but incomplete! - At least on my prototype the xing is also protected by two 'gantries' that hang out over the roadway and incorporate the same 4 leds - 2 in each direction as the gates themselves.

[I have pix, but they're on an archive disk 'somewhere' - If requested I guess I can dig 'em up and post, but i'm hoping you will know what I'm talking about here....]

So, the question is, I can't find anything like what I'm after - Walthers shows a few that are 'close' (#538-101 and 538-99)) but they look kind of gnarly as the basis for a kitbash - Anyone got any ideas?

Thx in advance,
Ian

Hi again,

FWIW, Tomar just got back to me on this question - They 'custom make' them for $450 per pair - Which is nice, but leaves me still looking for alternatives! :-)

Cheers,
Ian
