had a question about teh alternating of lights on a crossbuck. the way it seems to be wired is each bulb has 1 wire. the right bulb, and left bulb have one wire each. there is also a common wire which will make the LEDs light up. my question is how can i make them alternate. they're a N. J. International co. product, if anyone is familiar with those. I'm also connecting it to a Circuitron DT-2 grade crossing detection unit, to trigger the lights, which i believe i have figured out. my main question is how to make the LEDs alternate while tirggered. if you need more informatin, let me know.

You will need a flasher circuit.. A simple one can be made from the ever popular 555 timer for about $1 (or you can pay circuitron several $$ for thiers)..
Similar (or exactly) like this..

Lots of other great RR do it yourself stuff there..
Good luck,
