Source(s) for layouts
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 1:03 PM
Hello everyone,

New to the site.....enjoy it very much. Some background. When I was a young man my father built me a train layout that I enjoyed for many years. As I grew older my interest turned to other things and the train and all the track got boxed up. I have wanted for years to re-build this set but waited for my kids to move up and into a new house. This is where I need someones help.....

I have a garage that has no corners avaiable to set up a track so I am limited to a wall where I want to hang a track from and have it fold back against the wall when not in use....

Could someone offer some advice on finding a set of plans for this type of mount and a book or website for building my layout.....

Thanks,

Bill

John Armstrong had a very creative fold-up design in his book, [i]Creative layout designs.[./i] This one actually fit in bedroom.
