Posted by 1train on Sunday, October 9, 2005 4:27 PM
I also posted this request on trh atlas forum. I currently have a 4 x 8 table which Ican xpand and haven't really done a whole lot with it. I use code 83 and have not done any wiring. I have used a layout from Atlas but it is very simple. Please give me some in site.

What kind of insight are you looking for, Tommy? All I know is that you have a 4 x 8 table and code 83 track and no wiring, using an unknown Atlas layout plan. Try to give us more information. What would you like to do with your layout? Just run trains around and around? Have lots of sidings for switching operations? What kind of scenery: flat, rolling hills, mountains? Things like that will give us some idea of what you are looking for. The more specific your questions are, the better we will be able to handle them.

What makes you happy? as dgwinup said. To help you, try this. Write down on a piece of paper what you like most about model railroading. Using dgwinup's list see what you like and then tell the forum. They have helped many people get a handle on what they want, including me, then it becomes easy.
