decorative moss

Has anyone ever used or heard of "decorative moss" I found a bag of this at a craft store it says on the bag that its for making wreaths, covering styofoam bases, floral arrangements. It seems to be dry and I think it would make good brush and small trees but only if it's going to stand the test of time.
the bags says its from Waldron, AR.
any advice will help.
