Only'N'Dcc uncoupler car. Any good?

Hi!

Has anyone here already ordered one of these uncoupler cars?
http://www.onlyndcc.com/onlyndcc/N_How_it_works.html

At $60 a pop, this might be nice to use along with a yard switcher.

Seems cool. I'm assuming it either comes with a box car shell or you put one on. I wouldn't mind "test driving" one.
Kids are great for many reasons. Not the least of which is to buy toys "for them."

When you click on "Order" you'll get an option of either sending a car in for conversion,
or to get the whole unit minus a shell that you have to supply.
Still not a bad deal. I figure that just getting the parts would cost me about $40.
60 bucks plus a shell seems very reasonable, no?

I think its more worth it if you don't send something in, because that will cost you another $5 shipping, plus the cost of the car you supplied, but it certainly gives you the most freedom as to the type of car you want it to be. Its something I'll definitely take a look at in the future.

I agree.
Still waiting to get some feedback though on how well they work,
before I open my wallet.
I'm almost tempted to take a stab at building one myself..
Allelectronics.com sells a small solenoid for $2, another 18 bucks
for a decoder, a box car and some pickup wipers. That's it.
