some time back there was an artical on using spring wire for throwing the points. does anyone have any info?

The Spring wire you require can be had from most Hobby Shops especially
Radio Control Shops, I use the same wire in conjuntion with brass or copper
tube and small Bellcranks to operate my Points in the protoypical manner, It
can look a mess with these running alover the Layout but it can also look good
from a detail perspective, but thats up to you.
The other method I know of is using the Wire and Pipe with a Plastic Ball on
the end too push it in and out from the Layout side to operate your Points.
Both work well. Good luck with your project.
