Concrete, foundation, grime any of these or a combination. Pick a base color then use washes, drybrush or weathering chaulks to get the color and weathering you desire.
I have even used lightened CSX grey for the base then washed with grime.

Hi Peter,
I like Polly Scale P/N F414317 Concrete and P/N F414320 Aged Concrete. I get mine from Internet Trains, but it is available from most LHS's and many other model suppliers.

can anyone tell me the best paints ,colors to paint new and old concrete... i currently use 'buff ' colored paint ...thanks peter
