Quick question...... how can I include a picture with a topic I submit? Do I copy and paste it in or submit a file somehow?
Thanks, Hal

First you have to have the picture stored in the web, at a site such as rail images(www.railimages.com). After you have uploaded the picture(s), right click on that picture and go to Prperties at the bottom. A screen will pop up and you will see the URL address about in the middle, copy that and go to the reply section here to the topic you want and paste it. Then in front of the URL put "img" in brackets and at the end "/img" also in brackets, and you have posted your pic or pics on the forum.
I usually have to windows open. One for the site that stores my images, and one from the topic I am replying to. Works good.
Any other questions? Dont hesitate to ask!

It is not hard, I learned, but I couldn't teach anyone. There were some great threads on that a while back, and one was good enough to get me going. Give it a try, post some experments, one of which will finally work. There are those who really understand and they will help you as you learn. I use photobucket, but I don't know if it is better.
If you think you have it right, your standards are too low. my photos
