Zeke,
Welcome to the MR Forums !
If your local hobby shop doesn't have the
Campbell's
corrugated aluminum in stock, another vendor of scratch building supplies that has corrugated aluminum is

Plus,

makes "corrugated metal" in styrene if that meets your needs. Hope this helps.

Zek,
You can flatten some heavy-duty aluminum foil between ribbon cable from a computer. Standard hard drive or SCSI cables will give you large corrugations. If you can find a ATA100 cable, it will make finer corrugations. If you have an IT department at work, ask them - tthat's where I got mine...! [;)]

campbell makes aluminum siding, check walthers catolog or web site, I use aluminum foil that I emboss against a plastic aluminum sided building or roof. I just squeeze between fingers a couple of passes and handle with care because it will flatten out,cut to scale 4' x 6 or 8' sheets and glue to whatever your using as substructure.
