John Pryke's New Haven

Folks,
I stumbled across some old issues of MR that my Uncle had and have fallen in love with John Pryke’s New Haven track plan as shown in the Jan 1992 issue.
As this will be the second "large" model railroad I've built, and the first one using a track plan from a magazine I could use some help. Really the only thing I was curious about were the elevations used, and where they fit. Is anyone aware of a more detailed plan for this layout I can use as a reference? I do plan to buy the DVD as well...
Any help is greatly appreciated! [:)]

Side thought, draw it in VR land (3rd planet ot cad rail) you scan the layout and trace it on screen. that is how I got this from 1977 http://www.leatherique.net/images/layoutr2.jpg
