You cna use a DPDT toggle and wire it just liek you would for DC, but the best way with DCC is to use an auto-reverser module so you can just run the trains. MRC has one, Digitrax has the AR-1, Tony's has the PS-Rev, Lenz has one.. basically there are an incredible variety of choices. My personal favorite is the Tony's, it's one of the few without relays. The MRC is not adjustable as to trip current and time, and so might give trouble in a wye or reverse loop situation where there could be multiple switches as the train rolls past - the MRC works fine on one-shot reverses like a turntable. See the DCC Corner in Model Railroader a couple of months ago, the adjustability is a bit more critical in N scale, although there are some nicer HO locos now that draw as little or less current than N scale locos.

Are you just using a Y turnout, or are you going to have a complete turnaround Y?

Atlas turnouts don't require any special insulating or wiring unless you need to isolate one branch so you can use it as a siding, or are going to have a turnaround Y. A turnaround Y will require reversing modules and insulated rail joints.

Wiring for DCC is no different than DC wiring, except that you don't need a lot of complicated toggle switches to control blocks.

Is there any special hook up using Wye turnouts with DCC? Like reversing units?? I am using Atlas Code 83 products.

Thanks,
PJ
