Rather than use these, just use real rust. Here is a link to a product I use and it looks great.

Sriuos that Micro Mark stuff works well. I have used just the PAINT ON RUST from testors and such with and air brush and thought it was a rusty as our Jaguar.

for those who don't know anything about british cars or motorcycles Lucas Electric made the electrical and lighting systems for many brands of vehicles . to say they were unreliable is untrue , they were practically guaranteed to not work when you needed them most

Thanks. I've had a Triumph, an MGB, a Fiero and now a Chevy Blazer. The Blazer is 10 years old and not showing a sign of rust. The Fiero had a plastic body, but the rest of it fell apart very quickly. The British cars, despite coming from a damp climate, were ill-equipped to deal with New England weather and did indeed rust out

I've used rustall. See my link in the signature. Look at the photo of the tank car in the train on the trestle. It was rusted with the Rustall product. Dig from the bottom of the bottle to get all the pigmnet and apply thickly.

I've seen some nice work done with Instant Rust, a product available from *** Blick Art Supplies. They sell it on the Web, but that's all I would order from them, and the shipping is almost as much as the product. Does anyone know of a MR dealer that sells this stuff, so I can spread out the shipping charge a bit, or maybe an art supply chain that sells it at brick-and-morter stores?

Also, who has used this? Who has success stories, and who has horror stories?
