If it doesn't already have one, an LED - if at all possible. It will definitely look more prototypical. An HO locomotive uses a 3mm LED in the headlight. I'm not sure what an N locomotive would use...

I used the existing front light board. I lost the reverse light because the decoder lives in that space..

I am installing a z scale Digitrax decoder in a Atlas GP7. Do I need to replace the headlights and if so what should I use?
