Oh good, would hate to have seen an HO scale trestle fire for nothing...

Mind telling us what your solution is?

Kinda jumped the gun with this tread..Made the tresel bent and placed it in place yesterday, forgetting that last year I came up with a solution that would work out. It was one of those things that spring to mind just before going to sleep, found some old sketches this morning and should work out A O.K. John

I'm not sure what you are looking for. Are you looking for a suggestion to save a plan that didn't work out?

[banghead] Im about ready to start a forest fire on one side of my mountain, then ignite a backfire from the roundhouse.

Attemting to model the Feather river canyon and the Keddie Wye. It looked great on the plan and better after the upper 3/4 plywood tenporary 38 in curved spans were in place, especially trains running over the 24 inch high span.
Sounds great huh...I gestamaaaatede the Micro Engenering bents bottom width, now that I have them they interfear with my lower track.

Hope you can visulalize this.
60 inch double helix in corner, outer track running up the helix then along west wall then swinging over the back wye viaduct. after crossing the turnout, a 90 degree turn on a swing up. track gos around the room and either swiches down the inner helix or over the outer wye viaduct repeating around the room.

Theres another three track 90 degree swing up under the upper one. One goes aroung the helix, #2 goes into the helix and the other swings around the front of the helix.

Was thinking a shelf over the lover track so that I could cleane them, but lose the visual effect of the bridge height.

Wish some of you guys lived close by...to eye ball this thing. Perhaps investing is a couple of CDF fire trucks at my LHS...O well live and learn HUH...John[#oops]
