Walthers also has a 120' manual turntable with a pit. They do make a motorizing kit for it. I think the turntable alone is around $25. I don't know much about it. I can't imagine the motor costs much.

I just installed the Atlas TT and was surprised how well it works, considering
how inexpensive it is. It doesn't have a pit though. Indexing is very accurate.
The motor drive is a bit noisy, but I placed some rockwhool inside the motor
shed, and that cut down on the noise a bit.

For around $50, you can get the TT, the motor and the roundhouse.
Great deal.

Chip,

Check out this web site: http://www.cmrtrain.com/turntable.html . Seems like a very nice turntable. Hmm. Looks like the smallest N is only 105'.

I also like the less expensive Berkshire Junction manual indexing motor that is made to fit the turntable . (There's just something a bit immoral about forking out $350 just for an indexing motor. Ouch!!!) The link on their web site has an .mpg clip so that you can actually see the indexing motor in action. I'll take the $88 one, thank you very much.

Hope that helps...

Tom
