GML Enterprises"ROVER"

I just installed a GML Enterprises "ROVER" Walkaround Throttle and wired it carefully following the instructions that came with it. I used a new MRC 200 power pack and have the Rover base unit attached to the AC terminals of the power pack. I have the wires from the "Track" terminals attached one to the "common" hot wires from my blocks and the other to one Cab A terminal on my Atlas Selector (along with previous wiring from Cab A). The system works OK except for the following.
My problem is that the trains will only run one direction. If I use the toggle switch on the GML hand control nothing happens when reversing direction ( I get no DC indicator light on the control. The center position "Off" on the toggle switch works and the engine will run from the "reversed" position of the switch if I manually turn the engine around.
I'll call GML in the next day or two but I was wondering if anyone has any advise on how to fix this. The instructions are not real clear on how to hook the Rover up to an Atlas system. I suspect that I have the wiring to the Atlas Selector and/or common wire attached incorrectly.
