Another alternative would be to look at what is available in the larger scales to get the length you need. Having a high truss or chorded bridge can still be prototypical.

Chuck, if the bridge was more in forground of the layout I guess i would probably be more motivated to build something spectacular. I never considered bashing a Atlas Bridge. Are you mating two bridges into one? Please explain....Larry

you can kit ba***he atlas bridges and make a nice looking bridge..I have made bridges from Atlas deck girder and truss bridges in both HO and N scale for my HO layout and they look really nice...even did a curved bridge using Atlas N gauge deck girders, plastruct, and styrene plastic...if you want a nice looking bridge, you may have to get THAT involved....Chuck

Would anyone happen to know if there is an easy to build HO single track Truss Bridge Kit available? I purchased the Central Valley as well as Walthers kits and returned them because I didn't want it to be that involved. On the other hand, the Atlas kits too short and lack detail.
Thanks Larry
