You might also look at the article in the October , 2004 MR by Mike Danneman. The article begins on page 70, the article is titled; "Painting a Scenic Backdrop." Hope this is of some assistance.

Thanks, selector I feel bad that I did not search first on my topic before i started a new one. I did my sky a little different with satin vice flat, and used a shade of blue off a lysol can my wife handed me. $10.00 at home depot....thanks to gsetter as well, but I spent a lot of dollars on all types of mags and books, and the info I receive here is coming close to priceless :).....

Get a small can of FLAT light blue latex and a large can of FLAT white latex.
Before you start, you might want to buy
Scenery for Your Model Railroad
by Mike Danneman. There is plenty of advice on painting backdrops in this book.

I am getting ready to paint the walls a sky blue if they make such a color and thought I might ask everyone if you had a color of blue you used and if you went with flat, satin, or smi-gloss?
