New construction progress report with pictures, new additions to the DCC section, and a new rolling stock roster section (with pictures of the two 2K tank cars I built).

This week I hope to get a new, far superior digital camera, so future pictures will be MUCH nicer.

A somewhat related question....What kind of digital camera are you looking at? My faithful Nikon Coolpix 990 is slated for replacement, and I'm thinking about one of the Nikon 8000-series cameras.

I'm going cheap. Sort of cheap, anyway. Looking at a Canon A85. I've seen some sample pictures - looks real good. Needs to be pretty simple, I'm not the only one that will be using it.
If I had my way, I'd get a D-Rebel and some common lenses. But at this time, that's not going to happen.
