DCC Decoders???
Posted by Meyblc on Saturday, March 5, 2005 3:27 PM
Is there a specific web site that anyone knows of where someone can cross reference a locomotive by make and model to what the suggested decoder woud be for that locomotive?

This would be real handy info to look at when I, or anyone else needs to purchase a decoder without having to call someone like Tony up at Tony's trains and asking him.

Digitrax does list their decoders on their website so no one to call...as for other manufacturers,I don't know.

I am not aware of one place with all the information for all manufacturers. Some other web sites with suggestions are http://www.litchfieldstation.com/s/i/ho/hod/hod.html
and http://www.gatewaynmra.org/dcc.htm http://www.ncedcc.com/catalog1.html or http://www.tcsdcc.com/decoder_selection.html I often find a google search with the model type and "decoder installation" often provides links as there are usually more than one decoder that will work in any given application.
