I am building a O Scale 3 rail Layout. Is there a Correct size of Tree's that should be on the Layout ?? What size of Ballast should I use and do I ballast the middle of the 3 rail??? HELP

Sure. If you are modeling redwoods 16' in diameter and 250' tall they should be 4" acrosss and 62" high. A nice 60' elm or oak would be 15" tall and 1/4 to 1/2" wide at the base. Pine trees can be anything but then so can deciduous trees. nothing say's you have to model 100 year old trees.
