I am working on products for the hobby to make it CHEAPER to build a layout. SO far we have a SEALER for Homasote that works and is cheap. About $20.00 a GALLON looks like the price. Laso working on scenery stains and dyes in a concentrate that will end up at about $32.00 to $35.00 a GALLON. Will test this and report as we get along on this quest. THank you all who have put up with my dumb questions, I am just an "OLD DOG" learning new tricks. Still foggy on DCC!![:D]

UKGUY Right on the money 18' 6" x 22' 11".
Program is 3rd Planet. I liked it only becasue I taught AutoCadd and understood the layering concept and colors by layer. Another person has the program as long as me (almost 3 years) and still is having a problem grasping the concept. The price was good under $100.00 compared to the $12,000.00 I have in AutoCadd. The reson I do not use only AutoCadd is the ability to RUN TRAINS in 3rd Planet and SEE if something fits or not. The parts list and cut list are 1st rate so you can precut benchwork and track if you want. I am going to build the railroad in plywood 1st using the cad print out then after that is fitted I will take it apart and add sun-roadbed (Homasote) then Cork then the Code 83. I figurw that way I can find the humps and get the risers correct BEFORE cutting track and wating any.
Hope to add more soon. More Cad images for sure. Have over 300 images from layout and protype visits that I will also add.
