Help - need 101 track plans #52
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, February 27, 2005 1:55 PM
My dog chewed through my book and I lost plan #52 which I was planning to use. Can someone mail me a copy?

Thanks

Are you talking about the Wisconsin Central RR plan in the "101 Track plans for Model Railroaders"?

If so, drop me an e-mail (rob @ sandcrawlerworkshop.com) (without the spaces). I'll scan it and e-mail you a copy.

I'm HOPING that this is ok with the Powers-That-Be (tm). My assumption is that you actually do own this book, and I'm just replacing a damaged portion for you.

If anybody at Kalmbach has a problem with this, please e-mail me (at the same address above) and let me know, and I won't do it.

Eclou,
An alternative, which probably wouldn't contravene copyright protections is to request a copy of the plan from the NMRA's Kalmbach Memorial Library:
http://www.nmra.org/library/
They will stamp it with a note regarding copyright, and their photocopy fee is reasonable, even for non-members.

Before I buy the book, can anyone tell me more about this plan? I am looking to model the Wisconsin Central in roughly a 12x12 space.
Thanks, Scott Lamers

It is an 8x8' double loop with some small spurs. You can run continuously or end to end. There are two areas of double track passing sidings as well, and 3 main elevations of track. Pretty nice and compact, without being too cluttered.

Hmmmm. From what I can tell, the following happened. Someone had a problem and was asking for help. Less than 10 hours later the problem was solved because a person took the time and effort to help a fellow modeler. Is this cool or what?!?
If you ain't having fun, you're not doing it right and if you are having fun, don't let anyone tell you you're doing it wrong.
