Thanks Paul, that is what I wanted to hear. I am going to be using DCC, and code 83 on the mainlines, but I was very undecided on turnout mfg. Turnouts are big investment, and no fun to change out later all over ones layout because you are very unhappy with performance.
Thanks again....

***,
I don't have the Peco code 83 turnouts, and at the price they're asking I may not be getting any either! But many around here, myself included, have used the Peco code 100 turnouts for many years and are greatly satisfied with their operation; They're pretty much "bullet proof" and work and hold up extremely well. Many online also consider them DCC ready. So far this has been born out by local users of both Peco's and DCC.
The fact that the new code 83 line is even that much closer to American prototype in appearance, compared to their code 100 offerings, is frosting on the cake as far as I'm concerned. I personally feel that overall, you can't do better than Peco.

I am building my 1st HO layout after 55 year hiatus. I would like comments from those who are using the new Peco code 83 DCC ready turnouts. Any problems, what you like, don't like, suggestions for me.
Thanks guys...........
