indicators for block control
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 26, 2005 10:11 PM
We are doing an n-scale layouand decided not to do dcc (yet)...instead we're doing block control. I understand the wiring for block control, but is there a way (easy?) such that I can have an LED 9or dual color LED) to indicate if a block is energized, and by what power pcak (or cab)?

thanks

You could use triple pole double throw ( or centre off) switches and use the extra pole to indicate an LED or two.

Or use a rotary switch. If the switch is lined to position 3, throttle 3 is connected to the block.
