If you flip through any recent issue of MR, you'll find an advertisement for a train elevator system.
I have not been a subscriber for long (only about 10mos); so I can't help you find any articles about it. But I remember seeing this ad in almost every issue so far.

I seem to recall an old MR article about a verticle set of shelves that could store locos and slide up and down to deliver locos to the layout at table level. Can anyone help me to locate the article?
