Calling All Amtrak and Passenger Train Modelers

I've spent the past few days searching the web and pouring over books in the library trying to find plans that model passenger service, not just operations but also switching.
If anyone has any resources on this subject I would greatly appreciate it.

There are John Armstrong books that have actually drawings of passenger station configurations such as St. Louis and Kansas City. It has info on how they are layed out and operated. Also in the book is basic operation and layout design for many type of railroad functions. You might try Amazon or a good LHS.
